Solok Regency Slaughters 950kg Sacrificial Animal Donated by President Prabowo

The donation represents the central government’s concern and attention towards the people of Solok Regency. Solok (ANTARA) — The Solok Regency Government in West Sumatra slaughtered a 950kg sacrificial animal donated by President Prabowo at Masjid Istiqomah Lamo in Nagari (village) Sungai Nanam, Lembah Gumanti District. Solok Regent Jon Firman Pandu, speaking in Solok on Wednesday, expressed his appreciation and thanks to President Prabowo Subianto for the sacrificial animal donation, which he described as a sign of the central government’s concern for the local community. ‘Alhamdulillah, today the Solok Regency Government, along with the residents of Nagari Sungai Nanam, carried out the slaughter of the sacrificial animal donated by President Prabowo Subianto,’ he said. He added that the donation reflects the central government’s care and attention towards the people of Solok Regency. ‘We hope the sacrificial meat will benefit those in need and strengthen community bonds,’ he said. During the event, Regent Jon Firman Pandu and his family also donated one cow and participated in the Eid al-Adha prayers for 1447 Hijri with the community at Masjid Istiqomah Lamo in Sungai Nanam Nagari, Lembah Gumanti District. He further stated that Eid al-Adha is a crucial moment to strengthen Islamic brotherhood and foster compassion for others, particularly those in need. He also expressed hope that through this Eid sacrifice, the community would emulate the values of sacrifice, sincerity, and togetherness taught during the occasion. ‘May the spirit of sharing and mutual cooperation continue to thrive to achieve a harmonious and prosperous Solok Regency,’ he added.
