Solok Regency Receives Suspension Bridge Aid from PERADI
The presence of this bridge is highly important in improving connectivity, facilitating community mobility, and boosting regional economic growth.
Solok (ANTARA) - The National Leadership Council of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI) has channelled aid in the form of the construction of a suspension bridge in Balai Panjang in Nagari Saniang Baka, X Koto Singkarak District, Solok Regency, West Sumatra.
Solok Regent Jon Firman Pandu in Solok on Friday expressed appreciation for the attention and contribution from PERADI along with the central government in assisting development in Solok Regency.
He emphasised that the construction of this suspension bridge has been eagerly awaited by the community as it will ease access between regions.
“This suspension bridge will serve as a vital link for the community, particularly in supporting economic, educational, and social activities. We are very grateful for the assistance provided,” the Regent stated.
He hopes that this synergy can continue to be maintained, so that equitable and sustainable development can be continuously realised.
“On behalf of the local government and the entire community, we extend our utmost thanks to PERADI for this suspension bridge construction aid,” he said.

Previously, on Thursday (2/4), the General Chairman of the National Leadership Council of PERADI, who is also the Deputy Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Correctional Services, Otto Hasibuan, stated that this construction is part of PERADI’s commitment in carrying out the organisation’s social role, not only in the legal field but also in helping infrastructure development that directly impacts the community.
He hopes that the construction of the Balai Panjang suspension bridge can be completed soon so that it can be utilised by the local community and improve welfare as well as strengthen inter-regional connectivity in Solok Regency.
The construction of this suspension bridge is aid from PERADI as a form of concern for improving infrastructure in the region, particularly in opening up community access that has previously been limited.
On that occasion, PERADI also handed over aid amounting to Rp600 million, which was directly given by the Deputy Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Correctional Services to the Solok Regent to support the construction of the suspension bridge.
