Amid rising global geopolitical uncertainties and energy price volatility in the first quarter of 2026, PT Asuransi Tugu Pratama Indonesia Tbk (Tugu Insurance/TUGU) continued to deliver positive performance with well-maintained fundamentals.

In the first quarter of 2026, the Company recorded a profit for the year attributable to owners of the parent entity, or net profit, of Rp265.62 billion. This achievement reflects the Company’s ability to sustain healthy performance amid market dynamics and changes in financial reporting standards.

In line with the implementation of PSAK 117, the Company has made adjustments to the presentation of its financial statements, including restatement of the previous year’s financial statements to ensure consistency and comparability of performance. The Company assures that all adjustments have been made in accordance with applicable accounting standards, as part of its commitment to enhancing transparency and the quality of financial reporting.

Tugu Insurance’s Director of Finance & Corporate Services, Fitri Azwar, stated that the first quarter of 2026 was a dynamic period for the insurance industry. However, the Company maintained a balance between business growth and risk management.

“In the face of increasing global geopolitical uncertainties and energy price volatility, the Company remains focused on maintaining the quality of business growth. Underwriting discipline, portfolio strengthening, and measured risk management form the key foundation for Tugu Insurance to sustain healthy and sustainable performance,” said Fitri.

In the first quarter of 2026, under PSAK 117 recording, the Company booked Insurance Service Revenue of Rp2.57 trillion, an increase of 5.96% from the same period in the previous year, which was recorded at Rp2.42 trillion.

Meanwhile, Insurance Service Results reached Rp461.01 billion, up 2.18% compared to the same period in the previous year at Rp451.16 billion. This performance was supported by selective portfolio management in the fire & property, offshore, and marine cargo lines, which have been one of Tugu Insurance’s main contributors.

The Company’s Investment Income was recorded at Rp88.17 billion in the first quarter of 2026, reflecting prudent portfolio management amid financial market dynamics. Furthermore, Other Operating Income was recorded at Rp156.02 billion, an increase of 31.25% from Rp118.88 billion in the same period in the previous year. This achievement reflects the role of subsidiaries in strengthening the Company’s revenue diversification.
