Solar Innovation Hub Launched in Jakarta
Solar Innovation Hub, a real-time monitoring centre for the performance of Solar Power Plants (PLTS), was launched in Jakarta on Thursday (7/5/2026). The launch also marked the operational start of the headquarters of Dian Solar (PT Daya Mas Agra Sejahtera) in the Thamrin area.
The inauguration was attended by executives from DSSA, PT Huawei Tech Investment represented by Lei Bing, Indonesia Smart PV Director, and PT Hua Sheng Energy represented by Sebastian Gunawan, Head of Operations and Business Development at Hua Sheng Energy. The presence of these partners underscores the collaboration in providing Huawei inverter technology, a key component in the efficiency of the PLTS systems developed by Dian Solar.
The Solar Innovation Hub serves as an integrated control centre to monitor energy system performance accurately and in a data-driven manner. With a wall-mounted monitoring system, Dian Solar now has full visibility into the operations of all project sites in real-time.
The operational optimisation of the Solar Innovation Hub is supported by Huawei’s FusionSolar technology, a smart energy management platform widely used in the development of commercial and industrial-scale PLTS. Through the integration of real-time monitoring technology, Smart PV Optimiser, and active protection features such as AFCI (Arc Fault Circuit Interruption), the system enables more efficient, safe, and responsive energy management in response to on-site operational conditions.
The implementation of this technology also helps ensure optimal PLTS performance while enhancing overall asset safety standards and system reliability.
“Through the Solar Innovation Hub, we are committed to maintaining the operational efficiency of all our PLTS assets. The support from FusionSolar technology enables more accurate real-time monitoring, allowing any issues at sites to be resolved quickly. The synergy between Dian Solar and Huawei through FusionSolar technology forms the foundation for us to continue accelerating capacity expansion, particularly in the development of O&M systems for the Battery Energy Storage System of around 25MWh this year,” said Gisela Lesmana, Director of PT Daya Mas Agra Sejahtera (Dian Solar).
Currently, the FusionSolar monitoring technology has been implemented across all Dian Solar sites throughout Indonesia.
Dian Solar and Huawei are also strengthening their strategic collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the development of Smart PV solutions and an integrated energy storage ecosystem in Indonesia.
This synergy is part of strengthening Dian Solar’s readiness in developing Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), supported by Huawei’s Smart PV Monitoring System (FusionSolar) with real-time monitoring capabilities, intelligent energy management, and a scalable system to support larger-scale energy asset management in the future.
This collaboration also prioritises the development of Huawei’s Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), supported by a digital Operation & Maintenance (O&M) system based on real-time monitoring, enabling monitoring, performance analysis, and system checks to be conducted anytime without needing to visit the site directly. The implementation of this technology is expected to support the development of more modern, efficient, and responsive energy management systems.
Through this strengthened collaboration, Dian Solar is building readiness towards more intelligent, safe, and sustainable integrated energy system management. This step also reinforces Dian Solar’s commitment to delivering efficient, sustainable, and transparent new renewable energy (EBT) solutions for Indonesia’s industrial sector.
