SOKSI to Hold National Leadership Meeting and Congress in Bandung Next Week

Today, we, the national leadership board of SOKSI, held the third plenary meeting of 2026 in preparation for the SOKSI Rapimnas and Rakernas, which will be held on 15, 16, and 17 May in Bandung, West Java,” said SOKSI General Chairman Mukhamad Misbakhun at a press conference at the Golkar DPP office in Slipi, West Jakarta, on Monday (4/5/2026).

Misbakhun stated that the Rapimnas and Rakernas are needed for SOKSI’s internal consolidation. He said SOKSI is also inviting Golkar Party Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia to attend the event.

“Plans are to hold the Rapimnas to invite the Golkar Party Chairman, Mr Bahlil Lahadalia. We need to hold the Rapimnas and Rakernas for internal consolidation at SOKSI, to prepare the Depinas SOKSI work programme that will serve as a guide for Depinas SOKSI’s work during the 2025-2030 management period, during which we must have guidelines established in a national leadership meeting,” he said.

On the agenda, SOKSI will also prepare political recommendations. SOKSI assesses that the current political situation needs to be addressed.

“Of course, we will also prepare political recommendations based on the current actual political situations that need to be responded to,” he said.

Misbakhun then revealed the reason for holding the SOKSI Rapimnas and Rakernas in Bandung. According to him, this is because West Java is one of the regions that contributes to Golkar in the DPR RI.

“Why are we holding it in West Java? Because West Java is one of Golkar Party’s strongholds, the province that contributes the most seats to the DPR RI in West Java, namely 17 seats. Therefore, as a form of appreciation and recognition to SOKSI West Java, whose political work has shown extraordinary performance,” he said.
