Soekarno-Hatta Airport Tightens Passenger Monitoring Related to Hantavirus
The Main Health Quarantine Office at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is tightening surveillance on international passengers in response to heightened vigilance against Hantavirus, or Hanta virus, on Tuesday (12/5). Surveillance is being conducted through the installation of thermal scanners in the international arrivals area. Passengers from several countries that have reported Hanta virus cases are receiving additional checks. Officers have also prepared special evacuation routes for symptomatic passengers.
