Administratively, the recipient mosques and mushollas are located in the villages of Benda, Pajang, Belendung, Poris Gaga, Selapajang Jaya, Kedaung Baru, Mekarsari, Neglasari, Batu Jaya, Dadap, Rawa Burung, Bojong Renged, and Rawa Rengas, covering both Tangerang City and Tangerang Regency.
General Manager of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Heru Karyadi, stated that the activity is a follow-up to the InJourney Airports Berbagi programme. He said Eid al-Adha is the ideal time to implement social care values.
“The Eid al-Adha occasion teaches the values of sincerity, compassion, and the spirit of sharing among fellow citizens,” said Heru Karyadi on Friday (29 May).
Heru emphasised that through this programme, the airport aims to ensure its presence is felt not only as a hub for national and international transport connectivity but also as a source of tangible benefits for surrounding residents.
“The distribution of 18 cows embodies our ongoing commitment to compassion and sharing within the community, ensuring the joy of Eid al-Adha is felt more broadly by those living near the airport,” he added.
Heru further explained that this commitment will be maintained through other social activities, aiming to foster harmonious and sustainable relationships between airport management and the surrounding community.
The airport authorities hope this spirit of sharing will significantly improve community welfare and strengthen synergy between the corporation and Tangerang residents as airport environment partners.
