The enhancement of toll road service quality must continue, both in terms of infrastructure and supporting facilities, to better serve public mobility.

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Body (BP BUMN) continues to strengthen the quality of toll road services to ensure that public mobility runs safely, comfortably, and smoothly across various regions in Indonesia.

The Head of BP BUMN and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Danantara, Dony Oskaria, in a statement received in Jakarta on Thursday, emphasised the importance of bolstering toll services so that the public can experience smoother journeys.

“The enhancement of toll road service quality must continue, both in terms of infrastructure and supporting facilities, to better serve public mobility,” said Dony.

He had held a meeting with the board of directors of PT Jasa Marga to discuss business performance, operational developments, and improvements in toll road service quality at the end of March.

The discussions in the meeting covered various strategic aspects, from infrastructure maintenance, rest area facility improvements, to evaluations of services during the Eid exodus and return flows in 2026 compared to the previous year.

According to Dony, strengthening transportation services is part of the role of state-owned enterprises in supporting public mobility while driving national economic growth.

Therefore, BP BUMN continues to encourage improvements in service quality in the transportation sector, including toll road management, to be increasingly responsive to public needs.

These steps are also part of BP BUMN’s commitment to ensure that state-owned enterprises provide tangible benefits to the public through increasingly reliable, modern services oriented towards the interests of road users.
