SOE Ministry: Resolution of LRT City Project Problems Targeted for Completion by 15 October 2026

Deputy Head I of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BP BUMN), Aminuddin Ma’ruf, has confirmed that the resolution of problems in the LRT City property project developed by PT Adhi Commuter Properti Tbk (ADCP), a subsidiary of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk, is targeted for completion by 15 October 2026 at the latest.

He said the government is still waiting for the inventory of all issues, aspirations, and demands from affected consumers, which is due by 1 October 2026.

“In the coming period until 1 October, we will inventory all the aspirations and questions from roughly 2,000 victims for us to accommodate,” Aminuddin said at the BP BUMN office in Jakarta on Tuesday, 15 September 2026.

According to him, the results of that inventory will form the basis for the government to determine the settlement model for the LRT City issue. A follow-up meeting between the government, the company, and consumer representatives will be held by 15 October 2026 at the latest.

“The final inventory from Mr Rian and colleagues representing the victims will be submitted to us on 1 October. We will then refine it and hold another meeting no later than 15 October, and that will be the finalisation,” he said.

Aminuddin stressed that the government will not wash its hands of the matter involving LRT City consumers. He assured that BP BUMN will supervise the resolution process from the inventory stage through to the decision on settlement steps.

“We are not sitting idle, and we are certainly not washing our hands of it. We are responsible to all the victims; the state is present and we are committed to resolving this,” Aminuddin said.

Danantara is also planning to inject Rp 456 billion to support the construction of the LRT City project spread across 12 locations.

“Indeed, we have plans to build everything at those 12 points, in those 12 locations,” Aminuddin said.

He said the funds will be used, among other things, to continue construction of units that are not yet complete. There are even locations where construction has not begun at all, which will be built.

“There are some that have not been built at all; we will build them later,” Aminuddin said.

Nevertheless, he could not yet confirm whether the funds will also be used for a refund mechanism for consumers who choose not to proceed with their purchases.
