Social Media Grows More Complex, Brands Strengthen Social-First Strategies
Social media increasingly determines how the public discovers, evaluates, and interacts with a brand. Changes in algorithms, audience behaviour, and the character of each platform mean communication strategies can no longer rely solely on distributing content from one channel to another.
These changes are driving creative agencies to strengthen a social-first approach, placing platform character and audience behaviour at the forefront of the creative process from the outset. One step in this sector has been taken by Feel Good Network, which has brought Lengua, a creative agency focused on social media strategy, content production, platform-based storytelling, and creator engagement, into its ecosystem.
The addition of Lengua expands Feel Good Network’s specialisation amid shifting patterns of social media consumption. Content that is effective on one platform does not necessarily produce similar results on another, while high reach also does not automatically generate engagement or build audience trust.
Lengua brings an approach rooted in user behaviour, platform character, and the dynamics of digital culture. This approach is used to determine content form, communication language, and engagement strategy according to the context of each platform.
One of Lengua’s portfolios is its collaboration with Grab Indonesia since 2024 across more than 40 campaigns. The collaboration encompasses strategy, key opinion leaders, platform-based storytelling, and content production across various social media channels.
One campaign executed was #MelajuDenganSyantiek, which highlighted Grab’s female driver recruitment programme through a storytelling and creator engagement approach. The campaign recorded 26.6 million views, 8 million reach, and 1.3 million engagements, generating more than 20,000 female driver prospects and an estimated return on investment of 2.82 times.
Lengua also won 16 awards throughout 2026 from the Hashtag Asia Awards and Content Marketing Awards Asia-Pacific (CMAA), comprising two Gold, four Silver, and 10 Bronze.
“Lengua joining is not merely about expanding the services we offer. It is about strengthening the ecosystem we have built,” said Feel Good Network Co-Founder & CEO Wisnu Satya Putra in a press release on Wednesday (26/8/2026).
According to Wisnu, as social platforms become more complex, brands need specialists who understand culture, algorithms, creators, and content within a single growth strategy. Lengua will take on that role within Feel Good Network.
For Lengua, the integration opens access to a broader ecosystem alongside specialists in brand, creative, content, creator, media, and data.
“We have never been the loudest agency in the room, and that is a conscious choice we have made. Over the years, we have focused on building craft, people, and a culture-based perspective that starts from understanding humans before platforms,” said Lengua Co-Founder & Managing Director Darryl Driyarto Han on Wednesday (26/8/2026).
Darryl said joining Feel Good Network gives Lengua room to bring that perspective to a wider scope without changing the approach the agency has developed over the years.
“Joining Feel Good Network does not mean becoming something we are not, but rather bringing that perspective to a bigger stage,” said Darryl.
Within the network, Lengua will work alongside specialist units such as Innercircle, 8RICKS, Tales Asia, as well as teams handling content, creators, media, and data. This integration expands specialisation options for needs such as platform brand development, full-funnel creative, social culture, content production, community building, and growth measurement.
This change shows that competition in social media is not only about the volume of content or breadth of reach. Understanding audience behaviour, digital culture, and the character of each platform increasingly determines how brands maintain attention and build relationships with their users.
