Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah has once again become a platform for collaboration between companies, regional authorities, and communities to strengthen the spirit of togetherness and social solidarity. Across Jabotabek and West Java, various stakeholders have worked together in the distribution of kurban animals to ensure orderly and targeted aid delivery.

This was evident in Holywings Group’s social programme, Holywings Peduli, which distributed over 55 kurban animals, including cattle and goats, to multiple locations such as Senayan Village, Menteng Dalam Village, Karet Kuningan Village, Kemang, and other areas.

The distribution process was coordinated with regional authorities, neighbourhood leaders, and local kurban committees. This collaborative approach is crucial to ensuring smooth aid delivery and strengthening social ties between the company and local communities.

Andrew Susanto, Commissioner of Holywings Group and Head of Holywings Peduli CSR, stated that Eid al-Adha presents an opportunity to reinforce care and togetherness within society.

‘Through Eid al-Adha, we aim to instil values of togetherness, care, and the spirit of sharing. Holywings Peduli hopes this kurban assistance will benefit the community and strengthen positive relationships with the surrounding environment,’ he said.

He added that Holywings Peduli ensures all kurban animals meet health standards and Islamic regulations. The animals are selected in good health, active, without defects, with a healthy appetite, and meet the minimum age requirements: two years for cattle and one year for goats. They also undergo health checks to ensure they are suitable for sacrifice and safe for consumption.

‘We ensure the kurban animals are healthy and meet the required standards so the community can receive the benefits safely and comfortably. This year, we are grateful to distribute over 55 kurban animals to various regions,’ Andrew added.

Regional authorities’ involvement in the distribution has also been noted. Siti Fauziah Ghozali, Head of Senayan Village in South Jakarta, viewed the activity as a positive synergy between the company and the community.

‘We welcome Holywings Peduli’s care for the community. This kurban assistance is highly meaningful for residents and represents positive synergy between the company and the surrounding environment,’ she said.

Similarly, Saiman, Secretary of Menteng Dalam Village in South Jakarta, said the social activity during Eid al-Adha not only helps residents but also strengthens social relationships among various parties in the community.

‘Social sharing during Eid al-Adha is excellent for strengthening social bonds and fostering togetherness. We appreciate Holywings Peduli’s contribution to sharing with the community,’ he said.

Positive responses also came from beneficiaries. Arinda (32), a Kemang resident, expressed gratitude for the kurban assistance.

‘Alhamdulillah, we are happy and thankful that many parties still care about the surrounding community. May Holywings Peduli continue to succeed and keep sharing with residents,’ she said.

Hasan (52), a Senayan Village resident, noted the activity brought a sense of togetherness to his neighbourhood.

‘Eid al-Adha feels warmer with the provision of this kurban cattle. We greatly appreciate Holywings Peduli’s attention to residents,’ Hasan said.

Beyond being an act of worship and social solidarity, the kurban distribution is also expected to maintain harmonious relations between the company and the local community. Through Holywings Peduli, the company reaffirms its commitment to ongoing social programmes that directly benefit residents.
