Social Assistance PKH and BPNT for May 2026 Already Disbursed: Here's How to Check Recipient Names via Mobile Phone

The disbursement of social assistance under the PKH and BPNT programmes for May 2026 has begun to be received by a number of beneficiary families (KPM) in various regions, including Sragen Regency, Central Java. The government has also updated the list of social assistance recipients for phase 2 of 2026 to make the distribution more targeted. The overall number of social assistance recipients remains the same, but the list of recipients may change according to the latest data updates. In the latest update, 475,821 KPM have been designated as new social assistance recipients for the second quarter of 2026. The addition of these recipients was carried out after a process of proposals and verification from villages, sub-districts, social services, to the Cek Bansos Kemensos application. The inclusion of these new recipients simultaneously replaces previous KPM who are deemed no longer eligible to receive assistance. Some of them are due to improved economic conditions, death, or being recorded as civil servants, TNI, Police, or legislative members along with their families. Now, data updates are carried out routinely on the 10th of every month and immediately used as the basis for social assistance distribution. With this system, the verification process to disbursement of social assistance becomes faster. Data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) records that there are 11,014 social assistance recipients who have been removed from the recipient list. Subsequently, the government replaces them with new KPM based on the latest verification results so that social assistance is more targeted. After that, the system will display information on social assistance recipients, starting from the recipient’s name, type of assistance, disbursement status, to the distribution period. For recipients who already have distributor bank accounts, the assistance will be directly transferred to their respective accounts. Meanwhile, new social assistance recipients who do not yet have accounts usually receive assistance through PT Pos Indonesia. Therefore, the public is advised to routinely check the status of PKH and BPNT social assistance for May 2026 to find out if the assistance has been disbursed and to ensure that their names are still registered as recipients.
