Schedule for PKH and BPNT Disbursement in 2026 Referring to the distribution patterns of previous years, social assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia is usually disbursed in stages over four phases (quarters) throughout the year: - Phase 1 (Quarter I): January-March - Phase 2 (Quarter II): April-June - Phase 3 (Quarter III): July-September - Phase 4 (Quarter IV): October-December Based on the schedule details, April 2026 marks the entry into the second quarter for social assistance distribution in 2026. Social Assistance for April 2026 Estimated to Disburse in the Third Week Although there is no official announcement regarding when PKH and BPNT social assistance will be disbursed in the second quarter, through a release on its official website, Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf stated that the disbursement will be endeavoured to be on time. “Usually, we receive the data (DTSEN) on the 20th of each Quarter I, Quarter II, and Quarter III. But alhamdulillah, we have advanced this to receive it on the 10th, so on 10 April and so on. So every 10th, we will receive it, and the update results will be used as a guideline for distributing social assistance every month,” said Gus Ipul, at the Ministry of Social Affairs Office, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (1/4/2026) night. Criteria for PKH Social Assistance Recipients in 2026 and the Amount According to the Ministry of Social Affairs, recipients of the Family Hope Programme (PKH) assistance are extremely poor families registered in the National Single Social and Economic Database (DTSEN) and meeting certain categories. 1. Criteria for PKH Recipients - Registered in DTSEN - Classified as poor or extremely poor families - Having at least one of the following components: pregnant women or postpartum, early childhood (0-6 years), school children (elementary, junior high, senior high/equivalent), severe disabilities, and elderly (60 years and above). 2. Amount of PKH Assistance in 2026 - Pregnant Women/Postpartum: Rp 3 million/year (Rp 750,000/phase) - Children Aged 0 to 6 Years: Rp 3 million/year (Rp 750,000/phase) - Elementary School Children: Rp 900,000/year (Rp 225,000/phase) - Junior High School Children: Rp 1.5 million/year (Rp 375,000/phase) - Senior High School Children: Rp 2 million/year (Rp 500,000/phase) - Severe Disabilities: Rp 2.4 million/year (Rp 600,000/phase) - Elderly 60 Years and Above: Rp 2.4 million/year (Rp 600,000/phase) - Victims of Gross Human Rights Violations: Rp 10.8 million/year (Rp 2.7 million/phase) Criteria for BPNT Social Assistance Recipients in 2026 and the Amount Quoting the explanation on the Ministry of Social Affairs website, Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) or the Staple Food Programme is food social assistance provided to poor communities to meet basic needs. 1. Criteria for BPNT Recipients In general, the criteria for BPNT recipients are as follows: - Registered in DTSEN - Classified as destitute poor - Having a verified Population Identification Number (NIK) - Included in Beneficiary Families (KPM) Segmentation of KPM for the Staple Food Programme includes: - Single persons with disabilities - Single elderly - KPM with elderly members and/or persons with disabilities - KPM without elderly and/or persons with disabilities where the head of household is aged 40 years and above up to under 60 years - KPM without elderly and/or persons with disabilities where the head of household is under 40 years Meanwhile, here are some criteria that are not allowed to receive BPNT: - Status as Civil Servant (ASN) - Status as TNI/POLRI member - Status as ASN or TNI/POLRI pensioner receiving pension funds - Status as social companion - Status as certified teacher - Having regular income from state revenue and expenditure budget or regional revenue and expenditure budget - Registered in the data of the Directorate General of General Law Administration of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights as owner of CV and director or commissioner - Having income above the district/city minimum wage 2.
