Social Assistance for PKH and BPNT to be Disbursed Starting 20 July
The Ministry of Social Affairs has confirmed that the distribution of the Family Hope Programme (PKH) and Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) for the third quarter will begin on 20 July. Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf stated in Jakarta on Monday that the administrative process for disbursing the operational aid is currently in its final synchronisation stage after the ministry received the latest population data from Statistics Indonesia (BPS). βThe third-quarter social assistance is currently being processed. We received the latest data from BPS yesterday, and we are now cleansing it. God willing, it will be completed within the next two to three days, and distribution can begin by 20 July at the latest,β he said. Based on the updated data, there will be families who remain as beneficiaries, while others will be removed and replaced by new recipients. The Ministry of Social Affairs previously recorded 475,821 new beneficiary families designated to receive PKH and BPNT assistance for the second quarter of 2026. These new recipients replaced previous beneficiaries who had graduated from the programme, passed away, or were found to be civil servants (ASN), members of the Indonesian Military (TNI) or National Police (Polri), or employees of state-owned enterprises (BUMN).
