This statement was made by Gus Ipul during a dialogue with parents and students of the State Junior High School (SRMP) 12 Pati at the Margo Laras Centre, Pati Regency, Central Java, on Friday (15/5).

“If there is anyone in the Ministry of Social Affairs who engages in corruption, I and the Vice Minister will be the first to report it,” said Gus Ipul in a statement on Friday (15/5/2026).

“If there is any information about corruption, I will immediately form a team and ask them to investigate. If it is proven, I will report it to the Attorney General’s Office, the KPK (Corruption Eradication Commission), or other law enforcement agencies,” he added.

Gus Ipul said that every act of corruption, no matter how carefully planned, will eventually be discovered. Therefore, he invited all of his staff not to abuse their authority to commit corruption.

“So, my commitment is clear on this matter, because every rupiah spent by the state must be accounted for. For that, I also want to say that it is not easy to commit corruption these days. If there are still those who are determined to do so, God willing, they will soon be caught,” he emphasized.

In addition, Gus Ipul also reminded social pillars, including PKH (Conditional Social Assistance) facilitators, to work well and follow the applicable rules.

“To all facilitators, I ask you to work well and follow all the rules. There should be no more playing around, it is no longer the time to manipulate the APBD (Regional Budget) or the APBN (State Budget). It is no longer the time for corruption, it is no longer the time to take what is not rightfully theirs,” he said.

Furthermore, Gus Ipul said that PKH facilitators have been entrusted by the state by being appointed as PPPK (Government Employees with a Fixed Term Contract). This employment status makes PKH facilitators the spearhead in reducing poverty and increasing the independence of beneficiary families. He asked that this trust not be tarnished by fraudulent actions.

“That is an extraordinary honor. Do not tarnish it with activities or actions that are not appropriate, it will only be detrimental to yourselves,” he said.

Gus Ipul revealed that if any PKH facilitator is proven to have made a mistake or violated the rules, they will be given strict sanctions, including termination of employment.

“I do not want any PKH facilitators in Pati to be dismissed. I would rather hear that PKH facilitators from Pati are achieving good results. Therefore, I invite all of you to work together to make the President’s program a success, especially the programs that directly benefit the people, so that the impact is real, poverty can be reduced, families can become more independent, and Indonesia can become more prosperous,” he said.

For information, the Acting Regent of Pati, Risma Ardhi Chandra; Director General of Social Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Supomo; Head of the Margo Laras Centre, Pati; and Head of SRMP 12 Pati, Wulan Fitriyani, were also present at the event. (akn/ega)
