Soap opera stars to tie the knot

JAKARTA: Actress-model Shirley Margaretha and actor Rey Donald
Kaligis will tie the knot after a two-year courtship.

"Initially, we planned to throw the wedding party this August,
but I decided to postpone it until the end of the year because
I'm very busy and have to wait for my younger sister, who will be
flying in from Germany in October," she said on Tuesday.

The 23-year-old said she has not thought of anything special
for her wedding because she is too busy with work.

"I just want to have a simple wedding party in Jakarta," said
Shirley, who has a three-year-old daughter, Darryl Jovanka.

Shirley has starred in several soap opera series, including
private television channel TV7's Dewa Cinta and SCTV's Opera
Jakarta, is the widow of David Herry Prabowo, whom she married in
1998 and divorced in 1999.

Rey, the son of well-known lawyer O.C. Kaligis, made a name
for himself in Opera Jakarta. -- JP
