The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) seized several luxury items in a sting operation (OTT) against Tulungagung Regent Gatut Sunu Wibowo on Friday (10/4/2026) night. One item drawing public attention is four pairs of branded shoes, each pair valued at hundreds of millions of rupiah. However, the KPK has not yet disclosed detailed specifications of the items. KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo stated that information regarding the price and size of the shoes has not been released to the public. He emphasised that all seized items will be auctioned after the legal process has final force. “There are questions coming in via the KPK’s social media asking about the price and size of the shoes. So, the public should wait; once this case has inkracht, the seized items will be confiscated for the state and then auctioned. So, the public can own them by participating in the auction,” said Budi at the Merah Putih Building, Jakarta, on Saturday (11/4/2026). The shoes are suspected to be the LV Monza Moccasin type, known for its classic moccasin design that is elegant. This model typically uses premium leather material with a minimalist appearance, suitable for formal or semi-formal styles. From the official Louis Vuitton website, this shoe is priced at around Rp 16,700,000. Its design highlights comfort with a flexible sole and fine stitching details typical of luxury products. The price of this shoe on the official Louis Vuitton website reaches Rp 20,100,000. This product is generally intended for formal occasions, with high-quality leather material supporting durability and aesthetics. This model features a sporty design with a bold combination of colours and materials, as well as a thick sole that is comfortable for daily use.
