Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) has sent a letter requesting follow-up action to the District/City Education Offices regarding findings of several violations committed by supervisors/proctors/monitors during the implementation of the Academic Ability Test (TKA) for the junior secondary school (SMP) level.

Head of the Basic and Secondary Education Policy Agency (BKPDM) of Kemendikdasmen, Toni Toharudin, stated that the ministry issued the request letter to the relevant Education Offices on 12 April 2026.

He explained that the process of imposing sanctions on the supervisors/proctors/monitors proven to have committed violations is entirely delegated to the Education Offices in accordance with the applicable provisions in Ministerial Decree Number 95 of 2025 on the Implementation of the Academic Ability Test.

Regarding violations committed by students as test participants, the ministry found no instances that resulted in zero scores for SMP-level TKA participants.

“For SMP, there are almost no violations that result in zero scores,” Toni said.

On the same occasion, Head of the Education Assessment Centre (Pusmendik) of Kemendikdasmen, Rahmawati, stated that the centre has so far received reports regarding several Education Offices that have summoned the supervisors/proctors/monitors in question, but has not yet obtained further information on the actual sanctions imposed.

“Indeed, some have said they were immediately summoned by the office, but after being summoned, what is the follow-up, what are the actual sanctions, we haven’t been informed,” Rahmawati said.

For information, the following is the list of supervisors/proctors/monitors proven to have committed violations during the SMP-level TKA implementation: supervisor from SMP Swasta Islam Attadhomunul Islam, Sampang Regency, named Sulaiman, for conducting a TikTok live during the exam and smoking.

In addition, supervisor from SMPN 1 Gunung Sitoli, Gunung Sitoli City, named Krisman Dohona, for uploading a video showing TKA questions to a Facebook account; supervisor from SMP Negeri 1 Manisrenggo, Klaten Regency, named Yeppi Wardhana, for conducting a TikTok live during the exam.

Besides those three, other supervisors who committed violations include the supervisor from SMP Negeri 3 Samudera, North Aceh Regency, named Maimun, for conducting a TikTok live during the exam, and the supervisor from SMP 6 PSKD, Depok City, named Aswita Yosefa Manalu, for uploading an image to a Facebook account displaying the question screen.

Meanwhile, schools that also committed violations include MTs NW Borotumbuh, East Lombok Regency, because the school account conducted a TikTok live during the exam, and SMP Negeri 2 Cilaku, Cianjur Regency, because the school account uploaded an image to Facebook displaying the exam screen and code.
