Jakarta – PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero), the housing finance institution under the Ministry of Finance, posted solid financial performance for 2025. SMF booked a net profit of Rp565 billion, up about 5 percent from the year-ago period.

Alongside earnings growth, total assets rose to Rp66.81 trillion, up 15 percent year on year. Meanwhile, the company’s revenue reached Rp3.10 trillion.

This positive performance came despite macroeconomic dynamics and changes in banking liquidity conditions. The achievement also demonstrates the government’s Special Mission Vehicle’s ability to maintain business stability amid ongoing economic challenges.

SMF’s Chief Financial Officer and Risk Management Bonai Subiakto said the company’s performance reflected the resilience of its business model supported by strong governance and risk management. He added that the 2025 financial statements had been audited by independent external auditors, KAP Purwanti Susanti dan Surja (EY), with an unqualified opinion on all material matters.

“These achievements demonstrate the Company’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and prudent risk management in the face of economic dynamics,” Bonai said at the Annual Performance Press Conference in Jakarta, Wednesday, 4 March 2026.

In addition to reporting growth in profit and assets, Bonai reported that the company will continue to strengthen its role as a liquidity provider for housing financing institutions in Indonesia. Throughout 2025, the country’s fiscal tools channelled Rp20.88 trillion to housing financiers.

Cumulatively since its establishment up to last year, SMF has channelled Rp141.73 trillion to the primary housing finance market. This funding was allocated for financing amounting to Rp127.52 trillion and for securitisation valued at Rp14.21 trillion.

Separately, SMF also actively raises financing from the capital market through the issuance of debt securities. By 2025, the company had issued debt securities on 73 occasions with an accumulated value of Rp74.87 trillion.

SMF’s President Director Ananta Wiyogo emphasized that the company would continue to accelerate various strategic initiatives in the coming years. The efforts align with the 3 million homes programme to ensure access to decent housing for all Indonesians, particularly low-income households (MBR).
