SMBR AGM Approves Appointment of Two New Commissioners

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk. (SMBR) has reported changes to its management. The state-owned entity active in cement production has appointed several new commissioners. Among them, Muhamad Alipudin as President Commissioner, replacing Inosentius Samsul. Next, Luthvie Arifin as Independent Commissioner, replacing Chowdja Sanova. The reshuffle of the board of commissioners was approved at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) for the Financial Year 2025 held on 18 May 2026. One agenda item was the Change in SMBR’s Management. Hari Liandu, SMBR’s Corporate Secretary General, stated that the management changes do not affect the company’s operations, financial condition, or the business continuity of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (SMGR). ‘There are no material events affecting the Company’s operational activities, legal status, financial condition, or business continuity,’ Hari said in a disclosure information cited on Tuesday (19/5/2026).
