SMAN 11 Bogor City to Begin Construction in June 2026, Students to Temporarily Study at SMAN 2

The Bogor City Government will construct SMAN 11 Bogor City in Kayu Manis, Tanah Sareal, starting in June 2026. The school will be built on a plot of 5,327 square metres with a budget of around Rp 7 billion. Currently, the construction of SMAN 11 Bogor City is in the planning preparation stage, including the site plan. “However, we cannot yet build full classrooms. Insha’Allah, only three or four classrooms will be built as a start,” said Ervin in Kayu Manis, Bogor City, on Monday (13/4/2026). During the school construction phase, students accepted as pupils at SMAN 11 Bogor City will temporarily study at SMAN 2 Bogor City. However, registration will still be conducted in the Kayu Manis area. “Later, the SPMB point will remain here, so the community in Kayu Manis can register through the domicile pathway,” said Ervin. Meanwhile, Bogor City Mayor Dedie A Rachim stated that the construction process for SMAN 11 Bogor City is estimated to take 9-10 months. “So that means, students accepted in 2026 will be temporarily placed at State Senior High School 2 Bogor,” explained Dedie on Monday.
