JAKARTA - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has extended the deadline for mandatory reporting in the Financial Information Service System (SLIK). The original deadline of 31 July 2025 has been changed to 31 December 2027. The change applies to general insurance companies and sharia general insurance companies that market credit insurance or surety products. The provision also covers guarantee companies and sharia guarantee companies. OJK’s Executive Head of Insurance, Guarantee, and Pension Fund Supervision, Ogi Prastomiyono, stated that this policy aims to strengthen the quality and integrity of reporting. “This policy is not a delay in obligations, but rather a strengthening measure to ensure that implementation proceeds in a high-quality and sustainable manner,” he said in a written statement on Saturday (25/4/2026). Debtor data readiness is a key focus in the SLIK implementation. Reporting infrastructure is also a matter of attention. OJK will carry out periodic monitoring and evaluation of industry preparedness. “OJK will also continue to conduct monitoring and evaluation to ensure compliance and improvements in reporting quality by industry players,” he added. The previous regulation refers to OJK Regulation No. 11 of 2024. This regulation is the second amendment to OJK Regulation No. 18/POJK.03/2017 concerning debtor reporting and information requests through SLIK.
