Sleman's Banjarharjo-Ngemplak Road Undergoes Repairs Until October, Alternative Routes Advised
The Banjarharjo-Ngemplak road section in Sleman is currently undergoing repairs. Police are urging the public to avoid the road and use alternative routes.
The information was shared via the Instagram account of the Sleman Police Traffic Unit. It stated that road maintenance activities began on 10 July.
The road maintenance is planned to continue until 19 October 2026. The public is advised to use alternative routes.
“For the smooth flow of your mobility, we urge motorists to avoid this road section and use alternative routes,” the account stated.
Two suggested routes are the Pakem-Cangkringan route and the Besi Jangkang route. Road users coming from Pakem can take the Pakem-Cangkringan route, whilst motorists from the Jogja direction can use the Besi Jangkang route.
