Sleman Regent Meets PSS Owner Ahead of Super League, Discusses Training Centre Plans
Sleman Regent Harda Kiswaya recently met with PSS Sleman owner Agus Projosasmito. The two discussed the management commitment to PSS as well as plans to build a PSS training centre in Kalurahan Bimomartani, Kapanewon Ngemplak, Sleman.
“After several years of his involvement in PSS, this is the first time we have been able to meet. I am very grateful because I know exactly Pak Agus’s commitment to PSS. All this time we have only been guessing and relying on hearsay because we had never met,” Harda said when met at the Sleman Regent’s Office in Tridadi, Sleman, on Sunday (14/6/2026).
The meeting took place on Friday (12/6) at a mining office in Jakarta.
According to Harda, Agus admitted he does not have a football background. However, his love for football and the history of PSS made him willing to manage the club that is the pride of the Sleman community.
“He is blind to football, but it is only because of his love for football and his love for PSS due to its history that he is willing to manage PSS,” he said.
During the meeting, Harda also revealed plans to build a PSS training centre that could also be used by the public. The prepared location is in Bimomartani, covering an area of approximately 12 hectares.
“He even plans to establish a kind of sports centre for training, for anything, and the region can also join in there. It is in Bimomartani, and hopefully it can be realised,” he said.
“We, the local government, are providing the land. Alhamdulillah, we have already processed it up to the ministry level. Hopefully it will be made easy. It is around 12 hectares,” he explained.
Furthermore, Harda stated that the construction of the training centre will be carried out as soon as possible.
“If the region can finalise the land acquisition quickly, it will be built quickly. Never doubt Pak Agus Projo’s money,” he concluded.
