Sleman Manpower Office Opens 2026 Religious Holiday Allowance Post for Consultations and Complaints

Sleman (ANTARA) — The Sleman Regency Manpower Office in the Special Region of Yogyakarta has opened a 2026 Religious Holiday Allowance (THR) Post to handle consultations and complaints related to the payment of religious holiday bonuses.

“The post has been open since 19 February 2026 and will operate until seven days before Eid al-Fitr,” said Sleman Regency Manpower Office Head Epiphana Kristiani at a Sleman Regency Tripartite Cooperation Body (LKS) meeting in Sleman on Monday.

She explained that employers are obligated to pay religious holiday allowances to workers in accordance with Government Regulation Number 36 of 2021. The procedures and provisions governing THR are further regulated under Manpower Minister Regulation Number 6 of 2016.

“We urge and remind employers in the Sleman Regency area to fulfil their obligation to pay religious holiday allowances in accordance with the regulations,” she said.

“Reflecting on the experience of 2025, the THR Post handled 29 complaints involving 21 companies. Of that number, five complaints were recommended for follow-up by labour inspectors at the Yogyakarta Provincial Manpower and Transmigration Office,” she added.

Epiphana expressed hope that this year there would be no unresolved violations related to THR payments.

The THR Post is located on the second floor of the Sleman Manpower Office building and operates from 08:00 to 14:00 Western Indonesian Time (WIB).
