Member of Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) from the National Mandate Party (PAN) faction, Slamet Ariyadi, has affirmed that President Prabowo Subianto’s message regarding the importance of concrete work, mutual cooperation, and the acceleration of national development is in line with the spirit that PAN has long championed—namely, moving quickly to help the people.

According to Slamet, the President’s directive for all elements of the nation to work faster, more effectively, and to prioritise the interests of the people reflects PAN’s commitment to overseeing the government and ensuring that the benefits of development are truly felt by the wider community.

The statement is consistent with the President’s various speeches emphasising the acceleration of development, national unity, and a pro-people stance.

“President Prabowo’s message is a message of work. There is no room to stand idle when the people need solutions,” said Slamet in a written statement on Friday (14/8/2026).

“That spirit is in line with PAN’s mission to be present, move quickly, and provide tangible benefits to the community,” he continued.

Slamet said that PAN, under the leadership of Chairman Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas), continues to encourage all cadres, both in the legislative and executive branches, not only to be present in political moments but also to actively resolve public issues through concrete actions.

According to Slamet, the various social programmes run by PAN are a tangible form of siding with the people. From basic necessities assistance, community mentoring, to strengthening the agricultural sector, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and food security, these are implementations of the spirit of service that characterises the party.

“We want the public to directly feel PAN’s presence. Politics must deliver solutions, not just rhetoric,” said Slamet.

“Therefore, PAN cadres are required to work quickly, responsively, and always be among the people,” he continued.

Slamet assessed that national development is not solely the responsibility of the central government but requires collaboration from all elements of the nation, including political parties, regional governments, the business community, civil society organisations, and the public.

Slamet also called on all PAN cadres to continue maintaining solidarity and overseeing the strategic programmes of President Prabowo’s administration in order to accelerate the realisation of public welfare.

“The spirit of mutual cooperation must continue to be strengthened. When the government works for the people, all components of the nation must take part,” asserted the young politician from Madura.

“PAN is ready to be a strategic partner of the government in ensuring that every policy truly benefits the people,” he continued.

Slamet is optimistic that synergy between the government and all political forces will accelerate the achievement of national development targets, strengthen economic resilience, improve the quality of public services, and realise a more advanced, independent, and prosperous Indonesia.
