Slamet Ariyadi Inaugurates PAN Volunteers in Sampang to Strengthen Grassroots Party Power
The Chairman of the PAN Regional Leadership Council (DPD) for Sampang Regency and Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), Slamet Ariyadi, inaugurated the ranks of the National Mandate Party (PAN) volunteers in Sampang Regency. The event, which coincided with the first Regional Working Meeting (Rakerda I) of the PAN Sampang DPD and the inauguration of Branch Leadership Councils (DPC) across the regency, took place on Saturday, 1 August 2026, at the PKPRI Trunojoyo Building in Sampang.
The inauguration ceremony was held with great enthusiasm, attended by cadres, sympathisers, and volunteers from various districts within the Sampang Regency. This momentum serves as a strategic step for PAN to build a more solid political force that remains closely connected to the community.
The event was attended by the Deputy Secretary-General of the PAN DPP, Abdul Qodir (Gus Qodir); the Vice Chairman of the PAN East Java Regional Leadership Council (DPW), Widiarto Kardono; and the Vice Chairman of the POK Division of the East Java PAN DPW, Abdullah As Syi’abul Huda (Cak Wo).
In his address, Slamet Ariyadi emphasised that volunteers serve as the spearhead of the party’s struggle. He noted that the role of volunteers extends beyond political activities; they must also act as the frontline in assisting the public and absorbing the aspirations of citizens.
“PAN volunteers must be present within the community, listening to their grievances and becoming part of the solution to the various problems faced by the people. The strength of the party is built from the bottom up, through togetherness and real work,” stated Slamet.
He also called upon all volunteers to maintain cohesion, strengthen solidarity, and move under a single command to expand PAN’s influence in Sampang Regency and the wider Madura region. The inauguration of these volunteers is expected to provide new energy for PAN to continue expanding its organisational network, improving public service, and strengthening its support base ahead of upcoming political agendas.
