Jakarta (ANTARA) - Edtech startup Skolla Education is strengthening the digital learning transformation in madrasahs in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) through the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) DIY. The MoU was signed by the Head of the Madrasah Education Division of the Kemenag DIY Regional Office, Sidik Pramono, and Skolla Education CEO Devlin Hazrian Saleh during the Yogyakarta Madrasah Aliyah Working Group Forum (KKMA), attended by all Madrasah Aliyah heads in DIY in Gunungkidul on Saturday (4/4). “This collaboration is a concrete step in building a madrasah education ecosystem that is more responsive to the times,” said Sidik Pramono. On that occasion, Skolla also socialised plans for the launch of the Smart Schools Awards, a national-scale competition designed to appreciate students, teachers, and educational institutions across Indonesia. Skolla Education CEO Devlin Hazrian Saleh stated that cross-stakeholder collaboration is key to the sustainability of educational transformation. “Through this partnership, Skolla Education is committed to supporting a more directed and technology-based educational ecosystem, while promoting learning innovation through the Smart Schools Awards as a platform for appreciating adaptive, creative, and impactful learning practices,” he said. Through technological support and ongoing innovation, madrasahs in DIY are expected to deliver more relevant learning experiences and produce young generations ready to compete at national and global levels. Skolla also opens opportunities for collaboration from various parties interested in supporting the Smart Schools Awards through official communication channels.
