SKK Migas supports domestic pump industry to compete globally
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas) supports the domestic pump industry to compete globally.
SKK Migas Secretary Luky Agung Yusgiantoro, in his statement in Jakarta on Friday, conveyed that the SKK Migas Work Guidelines (PTK) serve as a reference for all contractors under cooperation contracts (KKKS) to support the domestic industry.
“This industrial pump factory serves as an example to motivate the domestic industry that we can compete with foreign products,” he said.
SKK Migas and PT Sucofindo (Persero) previously visited the industrial pump factory of PT Duraquipt Cemerlang in Depok, West Java, on Thursday (30/4/2026). Luky assessed that Duraquipt is one of the proofs that local manufacturing can compete with overseas industries.
According to Luky, for the domestic industry to develop well, it must receive support from all parties, including business actors.
“SKK Migas continues to support TKDN (domestic content level) for the interests of upstream oil and gas activities,” he stated.
He added that this government support is intended to motivate the domestic industry, particularly the upstream oil and gas industry in Indonesia.
