Skincare trends shift towards clinic-inspired PDRN formulations

Dermatologist dr Claudia Christin stated that one of the ingredients currently in the spotlight is PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide), an active ingredient known to help support the skin’s regeneration and recovery processes.
According to dr Claudia, PDRN is attracting attention due to its ability to support skin regeneration and recovery, particularly for skin showing signs of ageing or a weakened skin barrier. Claudia explained that there are five sources of PDRN: salmon-derived PDRN, known for supporting well-ageing; centella-derived PDRN, which has a soothing effect; rice-derived PDRN, which helps provide a more glowing skin appearance; lactobacillus-derived PDRN, which supports the skin microbiome balance; and green caviar-derived PDRN, which can help maintain skin hydration. “The combination of these ingredients is designed to work synergistically to help provide more optimal skin conditions,” she said.
