“For this year’s skincare trends, people are looking for products that can slow ageing, which delays the appearance of signs of ageing,” she said after the Nose Innovation Day event in Kelapa Gading, Monday (23/2/2026).
In addition, the trend of skin minimalism is also becoming increasingly popular. This concept emphasises the use of fewer products, but still able to meet the skin’s needs completely.
This approach emerged as a response to previous skincare routines that tended to be complex and time-consuming.
“Now people want something simpler, so the products are not too many, but they cover all the needs of the face,” she explained.
With this concept, skincare users tend to choose products that are essential and truly needed by the skin, so the routine becomes more efficient.
These products combine several functions in one package, making them easy to use and saving time, especially for people with busy lifestyles.
“2-in-1 or 3-in-1 products are now widely available because people want to keep things simple,” said Pinastya.
“For example, sunscreen combined with serum, or moisturiser with serum. So in one product, it covers two functions,” she added.
In addition to providing convenience, the use of multi-functional products is also considered to help users be more consistent in caring for their skin because of the simpler routine.
This shows that the need for practical and efficient skincare is increasingly becoming a concern for the public.
