SKCK Processing Limited to Police Resorts and Headquarters, Serang Police Chief Urges Online Registration

Serang Police Resort Chief AKBP Andri Kurniawan explained that services for issuing Police Clearance Certificates (SKCK) can now only be carried out at the police resort and headquarters levels, no longer at police sector stations. However, registration can be done online via the SuperApp Presisi application.

This update is a policy from National Police Headquarters that now limits SKCK issuance services. Andri said that many members of the public still visit police sector stations to apply for SKCK.

“This situation is deemed necessary to clarify in order to avoid misunderstandings among the public regarding the latest procedures. Based on the update from National Police Headquarters, SKCK issuance services are now only available at police headquarters and resorts, no longer at police sectors,” said Andri on Thursday (2/4/2026).

The police chief urged the public to understand this change so they no longer need to go to police sector stations for SKCK processing. To avoid long queues, the public is advised to utilise online registration services through the application.

For Andri, this innovation is intended to improve the efficiency and comfort of public services. “If you want to avoid quite long queues, the public can register for SKCK online through the SuperApp Presisi application,” he explained.

The SuperApp Presisi application itself can be easily downloaded from the Play Store or App Store. Through this application, the public can carry out the registration process without having to come directly to the police office.

In the online registration process, the public is required to fill in their personal identity completely and provide the necessary documents as per the requirements. This stage is important to speed up data verification.

“After that, the public can select the purpose for the SKCK, determine the pickup location at the police headquarters or resort, and choose the pickup date,” said Andri.

Afterwards, the public visits the intended police resort or headquarters to fill out the SKCK form, bringing their ID card or family card. Once that process is complete, officers will print the applicant’s SKCK.
