Jakarta — The Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov DKI Jakarta) will soon begin tidying up the tangled utility cables along several roads in the capital. Governor Pramono Anung said the move would proceed now that the Regulation on Integrated Utility Network Facilities (SJUT) has officially been signed. ‘Indeed, Jakarta will soon begin the process of tidying up the existing cables,’ he said during an event in Ciganjur, South Jakarta, on Thursday, 5 March 2026. ‘Because the SJUT bylaw has been signed and will be followed up on promptly,’ he added.
