Sjafrie Welcomes Arrival of Qatari Defence Minister Sheikh Saoud

The Indonesian Ministry of Defence received a visit from the Qatari Minister of Defence and Deputy Prime Minister, Sheikh Saoud bin Abdurrahman bin Hassan bin Ali Al Thani, at the Ministry of Defence office in Jakarta on Tuesday (2/6/2026). Sheikh Saoud was personally welcomed by Defence Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin. Upon his arrival at the Ministry of Defence office at 10:00 WIB, the two ministers proceeded to inspect the troops together. During the troop inspection, both ministers also paid respects to the national flags before proceeding to their scheduled meeting agenda.
