Sixth Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Try Sutrisno Dies at RSPAD Military Hospital

Jakarta – Indonesia’s sixth Vice President, Try Sutrisno, passed away at the Gatot Soebroto Army Central Hospital (RSPAD) in Jakarta on Monday morning at approximately 07:00 West Indonesian Time.

Information regarding Try Sutrisno’s death was conveyed through a chain message sent on behalf of his family and the Pancasila Ideology Development Board (BPIP), and was confirmed by several officials from the State Secretariat Ministry and the Presidential Security Detail (Paspampres).

According to the announcement, the body of the sixth Vice President, Try Sutrisno, will be washed at RSPAD and subsequently transferred to a funeral house located at Jalan Purwakarta Number 6, Menteng, Central Jakarta.

“We sincerely request forgiveness for all mistakes and oversights of the deceased during his lifetime. We pray that the deceased’s good deeds and worship are accepted by Almighty God. We humbly request prayers from all of you so that the deceased may be granted the best place in His presence. Amen, Amen, Amen,” read the family’s message announcing the passing of the sixth Vice President, Try Sutrisno.
