Six Train Journeys in Daop 2 Bandung Cancelled Due to KRL Collision in Bekasi
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG – PT Kereta Api Daerah Operasi (KAI Daop) has announced that six train journeys were cancelled as a result of a KRL Commuter Line collision at Bekasi Timur Station on Monday (27/4/2026) evening. The company expressed its condolences and apologies.
Manager of Public Relations for PT Daop 2 Bandung, Kuswardojo, stated that the accident involving the commuter line and a long-distance train occurred at Bekasi Timur Station on Monday (27/4/2026) at approximately 20:52 WIB.
“Six train journeys were cancelled,” he said in an official statement on Tuesday (28/4/2026).
The following train journeys were cancelled:
Monday (27/4)
KA Parahyangan (139) Bandung-Gambir route
KA Parahyangan (140) Gambir-Bandung route
Tuesday (28/4)
KA Parahyangan (137) Bandung-Gambir route
KA Parahyangan (138) Gambir-Bandung route
KA Pangandaran (127) Banjar-Gambir route
KA Pangandaran (128) Gambir-Banjar route
Previously, the evacuation of the train collision at Bekasi Timur Station was completed around 10:40 WIB. The death toll from the KRL Commuter Line accident, which was struck by the Argo Bromo train at Bekasi Timur Station in West Java on Monday evening (27/4/2026), has risen to a total of 14 people.
The victims were taken to RS Polri Kramat Jati for identification, while 84 injured individuals received treatment at various hospitals.
