Six pupils from SDN 19 Rabangodu Utara in Bima City, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), are confirmed to be unable to take the Academic Ability Test (TKA). The reason is that their names are not included in the Basic Education Data (Dapodik).

“Yes, it’s true, six pupils from SDN 19 Rabangodu Utara, Bima City,” said the Head of the Education, Youth, and Sports Office (Dikpora) of Bima City, Mahfud, when confirmed by detikBali on Monday (6/4/2026).

Mahfud explained that he learned of this after the pupils’ parents (guardians) complained to the Education Office. The parents reported that their children could not take the TKA exam because they were not registered in Dapodik.

“Their parents came to complain to us to find a solution so that their children could take the TKA,” he clarified.

Mahfud deeply regretted the incident. According to him, such administrative issues should not occur as they directly affect the pupils’ academic rights.

“I deeply regret it. This is very detrimental to the pupils,” he said.

He assessed that there was negligence on the part of the school, particularly the data operators. The negligence was a lack of thoroughness in inputting pupil data into the central system.

“Therefore, we will carry out coordination as soon as possible to find the appropriate solution to address this,” he emphasised.
