Six operational vehicles handed over to strengthen Kopdes Merah Putih in Tolitoli

The Tolitoli Regency Government in Central Sulawesi has received six operational vehicles to support the Kopdes Merah Putih village cooperatives in the area.

Head of the Tolitoli Cooperatives and SMEs Office, Surya Mahesa, stated in Baolan on Friday that the procurement of the six vehicles is designated for six Kopdes Merah Putih whose buildings have been completed in the regency.

He said the assistance is expected to strengthen the operations of Kopdes Merah Putih and support the economic development of village communities.

“These vehicles will be used by Kopdes Merah Putih in Tolitoli, including those in Binontoan, Diule, Tende, Nalu, Sabang, and Balaroa,” he said.

He urged all Kopdes Merah Putih administrators to utilise and maintain the operational vehicles properly so they can continuously provide benefits to cooperative members and the local community.

“We hope that through this operational facility support, the Kopdes Merah Putih in Tolitoli can grow, improve service quality to the community, and become a driving force in strengthening the village and sub-district economy,” he said.

According to data from the Central Sulawesi Provincial Government, the number of Kopdes Merah Putih established across the province has reached 1,981 cooperatives, all of which have obtained complete legal status.
