Six missing in sea accident
PONTIANAK, West Kalimantan: Six people were missing after a speedboat carrying 19 passengers sank in the Bilik straits over the weekend.
Hamimzar Yahya, spokesman for the local administration, said the accident might have been caused by strong winds and rising waves during the last few days.
"Local people are still looking for the missing people," Hamimzar said. The victims have yet to be identified.
Hamimzar said that the speedboat sank at sea over 100 km north-west of Pontianak. (16)
