Police in Bali have identified six suspects in the kidnapping of Ukrainian national Igor Komarov (28), whose body was found dismembered in Ketewel, Gianyar. All six suspects are foreign nationals and hold more than one passport, with some possessing two or even three passports, Bali Police Public Relations Head Brigadier General Ariasandy said, citing DetikBali on Friday (6 March 2026).

Bali Police are coordinating with various agencies to locate the suspects. A police wanted list (DPO) has been issued against all six individuals, and efforts include working with Immigration, Divhubinter Polri, and Interpol, Ariasandy added.

Earlier, police revealed that the severed body parts found at Muara Sungai Wos Teben, Ketewel Village, Sukawati, Gianyar, matched the victim’s mother’s DNA profile. The identity of the victim was confirmed after DNA testing.

Nevertheless, police have yet to determine whether the suspects are part of a particular criminal network. Investigators are currently focused on identifying and tracing the whereabouts of those believed to be heavily involved in the kidnapping case.

“We have not received information on that from the relevant embassy or from the local police regarding the background of this network,” Ariasandy asserted.
