Site visit to the three-million-unit MBR housing project in Cikarang
During a site visit to the planned Masyarakat Berpenghasilan Rendah (MBR) housing development in Cikarang, West Java, on Sunday 8 March 2026, Rosan Roeslani, Chief Executive Officer of Danantara Indonesia, spoke with James Riady, Chairman of the Pelita Harapan Foundation, accompanied by Hashim Djojohadikusumo, head of the Housing Task Force. Also present were Maruarar Sirait, Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas, and Anindya Novyan Bakrie, President of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin). The group discussed the development of the MBR housing site, where Danantara plans to build three million units on a 30-hectare parcel of land. This project is part of the president’s priority programme for MBR.
