PT Sewu Indonesia Tbk (SIPD) is requesting shareholder approval to add a new business line for the production of concentrates for livestock feed, poultry, and other animals. The company will hold an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGM) on 21 April 2026 in connection with this addition to its business lines. Management explained that the processing of livestock feed concentrates falls under category 014 (livestock farming), as it is an inseparable part of the company’s livestock operations. The EGM is being held to complete licensing aspects, particularly related to the production of livestock feed concentrates, which the company has long been conducting. “With the fulfilment of these related licensing aspects, the company can comply with the applicable laws and regulations,” management stated in a disclosure of information on Friday (17/4/2026). The company emphasised that this addition will not impact its financial condition or operations, as no new business activities are being added. For information, the company operates in the integrated poultry farming sector, livestock feed industry, and food processing. Its business activities include broiler chicken farming, breeding, to the production of processed frozen chicken-based foods. As of 31 December 2025, the controlling shareholder is PT Great Giant Pineapple with majority ownership of around 90.78-90.81 percent, while the remainder is held by the public.
