Sintya Tailor Dispute with Customer Ends Peacefully at Police Station
A heated dispute that went viral on social media between the owner of Sintya Tailor and a customer, identified by the initials RHW, in Sibangkaja Village, Abiansemal, Badung, has ended peacefully. Both parties were brought together at the police station for mediation. Information gathered indicates the mediation took place at the Abiansemal Police Station on Sunday afternoon (19/7/2026). During the hour-long meeting, both the Sintya Tailor owner, Ni Made Tiadnyani, also known as Bu Sintya, and RHW presented their accounts of the matter that led to the altercation. Nevertheless, both parties agreed to reconcile and forgive each other. They also signed a statement agreeing not to pursue the matter with the police. After the meeting, Tiadnyani and RHW, who recorded the video, posed for a photograph together while holding the document. Abiansemal Police Chief Kompol I Nengah Sona confirmed that his office facilitated a venue for both parties to meet and mediate, and the agreement was to settle the matter amicably. Prior to the mediation, Tiadnyani had apologised via her personal Facebook account. This clarification was issued after a video of her arguing with the customer and uttering insults with ethnic, religious, racial, and intergroup (SARA) undertones went viral on social media. ‘I apologise and beg forgiveness from all of you if I have wronged the customer. I have never mocked or insulted fellow Balinese people or anyone from outside Bali, throughout Indonesia,’ Tiadnyani wrote in her latest status update on Sunday morning (19/7/2026).
