Sintang District Government Secures Eid al-Fitr 1447 AH, Ensures Conducive Conditions and Health Monitoring
Sintang – The Sintang Regency Government hopes that the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah in 2026 can proceed smoothly, safely, and peacefully without any incidents disrupting public comfort.
This hope was conveyed by the Sintang Regent, represented by Helmi, the Regent’s Special Adviser for Economic, Development and Financial Affairs, whilst attending a cross-sectoral coordination meeting on the centralised police operation “Ketupat Kapuas 2026” to secure Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah in the Sintang Police jurisdiction. The activity took place at the BKPM Aula of Sintang Police Station on Monday, 9 March 2026.
On that occasion, Helmi expressed the Sintang Regency Government’s appreciation to Sintang Police, who had initiated the cross-sectoral coordination meeting as part of preparations for this year’s Eid al-Fitr security operation.
“This coordination meeting is an important platform for aligning perceptions, building coordination, and strengthening synergy amongst agencies in ensuring public safety and comfort during Eid al-Fitr celebrations,” said Helmi.
He affirmed that the Sintang Regency Government was ready to provide full support for the implementation of Operation Ketupat Kapuas 2026 by involving various relevant regional agencies.
“The Sintang Regency is ready to support the implementation of Operation Ketupat Kapuas 2026 by involving regional agencies such as the Transportation Office, Civil Police, Health Office, BPBD, and other relevant institutions to actively support the operation in the field,” he stressed.
Helmi also reminded all personnel involved in security operations to provide the best service to the public during Eid al-Fitr celebrations.
“All personnel are asked to provide humanitarian, friendly, and professional service to the public. Ensure that people feel safe and comfortable whilst celebrating Eid al-Fitr,” he said.
According to Helmi, as an annual activity, relevant parties were believed to have conducted early risk mapping, including the possibility of traffic accidents, natural disasters, security disturbances, and increased public mobility approaching the holiday.
Additionally, he also reminded officers to maintain their physical condition and health whilst performing security duties.
“Personnel involved in the operation are expected to maintain their physical condition and health in order to carry out their duties optimally. This security operation is a form of service to the public,” he said.
Helmi hopes that with good cooperation and synergy amongst all relevant parties, the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah in Sintang Regency can proceed safely, orderly, and peacefully.
“With good synergy and cooperation, we hope that this year’s Eid al-Fitr celebration in Sintang Regency can proceed safely, orderly, and peacefully,” Helmi concluded.
