Jakarta (ANTARA) - Singer King Nassar shared his personal experience on how to save on additional costs for every transaction during online shopping throughout Ramadan using a digital wallet application. “Having no administration fees is already a great convenience. In other places, as I mentioned earlier, there are administration fees,” said Nassar during the ShopeePay Media Gathering event titled “Gebyar Ramadan 2026” in the Setiabudi area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday. Whenever he makes fund transfers and orders food amidst his unpredictable work schedule, King Nassar always emphasises the importance of cost efficiency to ensure that expenses during the fasting month are not excessive. Even when running his own business, Nassar has experienced that easy payment access with no transaction administration fees can reduce the burden of daily operational shopping costs. “With the ‘king’ of no administration fees, our transactions become even more practical, safe, and convenient, making them efficient,” said the singer, who rose to fame through the Indonesian Dangdut Contest (KDI). Currently, there is a system for splitting bills that allows everyone to pay their respective shares in the digital wallet application. Users simply need to take a photo of the payment receipt to start the cost calculation process. The system works by automatically calculating the amount that each individual has to pay based on the selected food items. Each participant in the meal will receive a bill notification directly on their mobile phones. King Nassar believes that this method is very helpful because iftar time is often limited.
