The incident began when the victim was riding her own motorbike towards Gang Anggrek in Canggu on Sunday (12/7/2026) at around 10.10 pm local time. Upon arriving in front of a villa, another motorcyclist travelling at high speed suddenly approached her from behind. “According to the victim’s statement, this person came quickly from behind. Her necklace was immediately seized, and he fled straight away. The victim spontaneously tried to chase the perpetrator but fell instead,” explained Sukadana. The victim CYH only suffered abrasions on her hands from the fall. According to the victim’s account, the perpetrator fled westwards towards the Canggu shortcut route.
