Singaporean found dead

JAKARTA (JP): A Singaporean man was found with his head
crushed in the parking lot of the Radisson hotel on Jl.
Pacenongan, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday afternoon.

People have speculated that the foreigner, identified as Yo
Aek Leong Leonard, 35, had killed himself by jumping from the
ninth floor of the hotel.

Police said yesterday that they had yet to determine whether
the victim had committed suicide or was murdered.

Local police officers and hotel staff said that the victim had
stayed in the same hotel room since Jan. 10 with his wife, Lin
Fadlin, who has one paralyzed hand.

City police spokesman Lt. Iman Haryatna said that police
detectives and forensic scientists are still examining the corpse
to discover the cause of the accident.

"His wife has also been questioned," Iman said. (bsr)
