TEMPO Interactive, Mataram:The West Nusa Tenggara Government has chosen PT Indosinga Invetama as a partner to build an international standard meeting hall, The NTB Convention Centre.
The investor from Singapore outbid several other candidates.

The meeting hall is planned to have 74.000 square meters with a capacity of 5000 people.

The NTB Convention Centre will be built on land belonging to the Mataram provincial government of 3.3 hectares with a fund of Rp384 billion.

The agreement was written in a MoU signed by the West Nusa Tenggara Governor, Muhammad Zainul Madjdi, with the Director of PT Indosinga Invetama Lombok Lim Chong Siong in Mataram, last Saturday.

The investment is based on build on an operate transfer system for 30 years, and which can be extended.

As long as the convention centre operates, the regional government has the right to obtain a royalty.

“In three month a preliminary feasibility study, engineering design detail and environment impact analysis will be carried out,” said Iswandi.
