Singapore Fuel Prices Surge to Rp55,000, Highest Since 2022

Fuel prices in Singapore have continued to surge since the outbreak of conflict between Israel, the United States, and Iran on 28 February 2026. Singapore’s fuel prices have now reached their highest levels since the Russia-Ukraine War in 2022.

According to the Straits Times on Tuesday, 17 March 2026, fuel prices at Caltex petrol stations have reached their highest levels since the previous record set in June 2022, which stood at SGD 3.42 per litre, according to records from the Singapore Consumer Association. This previous spike followed the European Union’s announcement of a ban on Russian oil imports in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Caltex Petrol Stations

Based on the Caltex website, fuel prices at Caltex petrol stations in Singapore as of Monday, 16 March at 17:30 local time were as follows:

Regular 92: SGD 3.43 (before site discount) or approximately Rp45,583 per litre (assuming Rp13,289 per SGD) and SGD 3.259 (after site discount) or Rp43,310 per litre.

Premium 95: SGD 3.47 (before site discount) or approximately Rp46,114 per litre and SGD 3.297 (after site discount) or Rp43,815 per litre.

Platinum 98: SGD 4.16 (before site discount) or approximately Rp55,284 per litre and SGD 3.952 (after site discount) or Rp52,519 per litre.

Caltex Diesel: SGD 3.56 (before site discount) or approximately Rp47,310 per litre and SGD 3.382 (after site discount) or Rp44,944 per litre.

Shell Petrol Stations

Similarly, fuel prices at Shell petrol stations have risen. On Monday, 16 March 2026, fuel prices at Shell petrol stations in Singapore were recorded as follows:

Shell FuelSave 98: SGD 3.99 or approximately Rp53,025 per litre and SGD 3.791 (after discount) or Rp50,380 per litre.

Shell FuelSave 95: SGD 3.47 or approximately Rp46,114 per litre and SGD 3.297 (after discount) or Rp43,815 per litre.

Shell V-Power: SGD 4.21 or approximately Rp55,948 per litre and SGD 4 (after discount) or Rp53,157 per litre.
