SINGAPORE (Reuters): Singapore customs officials seized 125 kg of turtle eggs being shipped in from Indonesia hidden among boxes of electronic components on Monday.
"The turtle eggs were packed in three boxes and weighed about 125 kg," a customs spokesman said.
He said it was not immediately clear what kind of turtles the eggs were from, but no turtle eggs were allowed into Singapore.
Four men were arrested and would be charged in court on Tuesday, the spokesman said.
